Mark Truscott
was born in Torquay, England and grew up in a small market town. He studied ceramics at Exeter College of Art and Design, then he went to Torquay College and did his foundation. He studied sculpture at Maidstone College of Art his subsidiary was painting. Later he studied at the Institute of Education, London University for his PGCE. In London he worked with a group of artists called "GANZ SIGHT" which focussed on fusing art in a holistic manner. The themes were based on dance (lambada, salsa and merengay). He moved to Japan where he is making art in Yamaga. His main activity in sculpture using a variety of materials. He also has shown in a number of different spaces, doing performances and instillations. He currently working with a group of artists from different countries called "AWA RAINBOW". イギリス出身。ロンドンのメイドストーン・カレッジ・オブ・アートで彫刻を学んで以来、鉄を素材とした彫刻を創作。人間の相互作用の結果として表現される詩、ダンス、動きに啓発されて産まれた造詣を通じて、感覚、気分などを表現し続けている。
